I'm Clarice
Healing from tough times has been a massive part of my life, mainly because of the trauma I faced in my childhood. Growing up in a home filled with yelling, narcissistic abuse, and violence wasn't easy.
My wake-up call came when I found myself stuck in a toxic relationship that made me feel terrible about myself. It took me a while to realize that it mirrored the negative experiences from my past. That realization, over three decades ago, pushed me to break free.
It could have broken me, but I chose to learn from it and help others facing similar struggles.
Over the past thirty years, I've dedicated myself to understanding and supporting people dealing with trauma.
Qualified and experienced in:
Journalist, Counsellor, Trauma-informed consultant, NLP, Safeguarding & Safeguarding Children, Case Management, Conflict Resolution and Mediation, Complex needs specialist, Honour Based Abuse, Independent Domestic Violence Advocate(IDVA), Independent Stalking Advocate(ISA)
As a survivor who has weathered the storms of adversity, I intimately understand the struggles of those navigating the treacherous terrain of trauma. My journey, marked by both triumphs and tribulations, has shaped me into the seasoned trauma-informed coach and mentor I am today.
Since then, I've been passionate about helping others heal from their traumas. It's not easy, but it's worth it. You can overcome it, too, but it requires prioritizing yourself, loving yourself and making positive decisions that result in changes. Change usually starts with a conversation

When Clarice started working with me
I was lost.
Clarice was excellent. She puts a lot of
effort and passion into what she does.
She always made sure I had everything I needed.
She helped and supported me with all my
problems. When I was ready to give
up, she always had words that
encouraged and motivated me to keep
going.
Her positive energy and her belief in me
is why I started studying.
I now work part-time as a trainee teacher
and continue studying. I never thought
this would be my life now.

I still can't believe where I am today.
During the Covid lockdown, I told my ex to leave. Years of controlling behaviour I had caused me to quit my job and become completely isolated. Clarice kicked me up the bum just as I was about to lose custody of my children and my home. Her weekly calls woke me up and encouraged me to see my ex for what he was. I held my solicitor accountable, and her advice motivated me to return to Court. I had given up, but Clarice found my IDVA from years ago; she got professional supporting letters and pushed the police to start an investigation into his stalking behaviour. Bail conditions were issued, and only supervised visits at the contact centre were allowed. Her courage gave me courage. I am still on my healing journey but rarely second-guess myself now.

Clarice is a mature professional who has accomplished so much. Her wisdom and intellect are instantly felt when you meet her. I worked alongside her as CEO of DiversityInCare Ltd and am proud to have served on her advisory board. She is recognized as a leader in her expert field, understanding the challenges of the socially disabled community, those at risk from themselves and others. Her ability to assess and manage people is highly tuned, and her sensitive yet robust handling of conflict and resolution is top-class. Not afraid to take risks, Clarice will advise with consideration, meaningful observations and constructive actions. She understands people and has a well-honed, measured approach to diversity and inclusion agendas. I recommend her highly and profoundly.
